Harwood Lake Association takes pride in the lake and the surrounding area. Working together we can keep our lake healthy and beautiful.

Roadside Clean Up

2021 Schedule

April 17 is the First Scheduled Clean up Date.
April 18, 24 & 25 rain dates

July 17 is the Second Scheduled Clean up Date. July 18, 24 & 25 Rain Dates

September 24 is the Final Scheduled Clean up Date. Sept 25 , October 2 & 3 Rain Date

We will be Responsible for the Cleaning of the Roadsides of M-40 Between the Roads of Bald Hill & M-60.This will begin in April of 2021 and there are 3 Clean up Dates that will be provided to us this Spring.


MI Shoreline Stewards Program

What is a Shoreland Steward?  Are you one?  Protecting our lake is more than picking up pet waste and not using phosphorus based fertilizer. Find out how to use the online survey to assess your property, receive general recommendations for improvements and what kind of resources there are to help engage you and our lake community in participating as well.

PAST EVENTS

Fall 2019 Lakeside Cleanup

Beginning at the Harwood Lake boat launch the stretch of County Line Road was cleaned up to Harwood Lake Street then the group cleaned Harwood Lake Street to Spring Street.

The volunteers were lead by Korie & Jeff Blyveis. Volunteers were Broc Watkins, Randy Wilcox, Diane Lindahl, Stan Battersby & Jim Kings. Disposal of the debris was provided by Happy Landing. The day wrapped up with some well deserved hot coffee and a light lunch at Happy Landing.
